Introduction:US-based Jamba Juice (Jamba), a quick-service restaurant focused on healthy food and beverages, had grown rapidly since it was set up in 1990 to become an international brand. But in 2006, it suffered huge losses, which continued year after year. In a bid to turn around the company, James White (White) was brought in as CEO in December 2008. White prepared a turnaround plan called the Blend Plan in 2009 to help the company recover from its losses. Jamba attained inflection point in 2011. But experts opined that it should take diligent measures and actions to make the business sustainable and profitable while making the Blend Plan a success. |
